Responding to calls from people in First Nations communities, the Hotline has developed Books and Bubs. This adult literacy workbook is for First Nations people wanting to read to their children. The workbook is intended for people who don’t have access to an Adult Literacy Teacher but who can get help from someone they are comfortable learning with.
Several First Nations groups are utilising Books and Bubs to help parents and carers develop confidence in supporting their children’s early literacy, and where needed, their own.
