WAVE National Forum includes presentation on literacy labour

This year the WAVE national forum will be held in Melbourne on 21 October and will focus on the role of adult and vocational education in empowering women and supporting gender equality. Of particular interest to literacy educators will be a presentation by Sally Thompson on
Literacy labour: the growing burden of supporting adults with low literacy in a digitised world.

Drop the Jargon Day – 25 October 2022

Drop the Jargon is an initiative that raises awareness of the need for plain English especially in the health and human services sector. SACAL 2022 Annual General Meeting to be held on Thursday 27 October
