What Works – Teaching Numeracy to Adults

Don’t miss out on this engaging and useful professional development series from Adult Learning Australia. Feedback from teachers is that workshops are practical and address numeracy teaching and learning issues they experience daily.

Each session is co-facilitated by Ros Bauer and Jo Medlin with presentations from a combination of experts addressing how to teach a particular aspect of numeracy, covering different mathematical content areas and strategies to use in individual, small or whole group work.

The next session is on 27 April 11.00 – 12:00pm AEST and is called Connecting the dots with numeracy. It will look at practical strategies to support adults to make connections between fractions, percentages, and decimals, identifying what is essential to include in your teaching using everyday activities.

You can still register for the What Works Adult Numeracy series. Or for individual sessions.
