Using Neuroscience to more effectively work with adult Literacy learners.

Linno Rhodes is an adult literacy and numeracy practitioner and an International Specialised Skills Institute Fellow. She recently wrote an article titled Reading between the lines – adult literacy education and neuroscience published in Avetra’s (Australian VET Research Association) Research Today. The article in Research Today  details her investigations into how to work more effectively with adult learners who have had a history of negative educational experiences and allow students to ‘re-write their relationship with learning and education’.
