Ako Aotearoa is New Zealand’s National Centre for Tertiary Teaching Excellence. Our range of services includes a Knowledge Centre with a host of resources, and professional learning and development courses.
We are pleased to let you know that our public and in-house online courses are available to our neighbours in Australia. We’d love to have you join us!
Our Adult Literacy, Numeracy and Cultural Capability (ALNACC) courses include a range of topics on teaching literacy and numeracy, and culturally responsive pedagogies. The cultural capability component focuses on teaching Māori and Pacific learners. However, values and strategies discussed would be appropriate for all learners.
The courses include two online workshop sessions and a 4-week facilitated, self-paced online module.
