ACE summit focuses on Foundation Skills and Aged Care

Community Colleges Australia is shining a light on Foundation Skills in adult and community education in its upcoming national summit. It will also be taking a very timely look at training needs in the aged care workforce, following on from the Aged Care Royal Commission recommendations and new budget allocations for training. The summit is online on Tues 29 June, with a range of eminent guests, and aims to ensure that ACE providers can support national economic recovery. Jason Coutts, from DESE will deliver a keynote speech, and be joined by an expert panel, including: Tim Rawlings, PwC’s Skills for Australia; Megan Lilly, AIGroup; Vanessa Iles, Reading Writing Hotline; Jo Medlin, Australian Council for Adult Literacy; Kylie Fergusen, Community Centres SA; and Caspar Zika, VICSEG New Futures.
